post-beach

ok, we got back on friday. actually, we wanted to continue our journey towards penang but we got news that all hotels were fully booked and were filled with politicians. u know, the permatang pauh by-election. so we came back instead. i was game for a spontaneous adventure but from d look of my bro, i guess he juz cant wait to go back to see his gf. haha, gotcha!!

when we arrived. im so lucky to have kids that dont get sick easily. carsick i mean. unlike me!! u know, the old trunk road plus d winding road, argh, when it comes to travelling, that's d part that i hate d most.

d evening we arrived, we settled for d pool. but d morning after, we immediately headed to d not-so-clean beach but what d heck. it was mega, mega fun due to so many reasons. literally no ppl at all was d main atttraction, plus d nice weather, and d water!! main point is, d kids had a blasting time and it was all that matters.

after lumut, we went to taiping. d purpose was to go to d zoo. so we stayed 1 nite. gosh, i love small towns. i could live there u know.

im going away for a short vacation tomorrow. with my kids, my parents, my bro. hubby had to work. i cant wait. gonna go to the beach. i love beach getaways. it's breathtaking. and i hope this place where we are going is gonna be nice and up to my expectations. well, i hope i didnt sound like an unbelievably demanding person. like my sister. haha. that's a joke juz in case she's reading this. rania has been to d beach. omar hasnt. so he's the reason why we planned this getaway in the first place. a friend pointed out that the place is so out of civilization. even better. im trying to disconnect myself from the crowd. im sure my dad agrees. him mixing with the crowd?? hmmmm, i cant picture that. blending in?? omigod! my mind is totally blank! but not my mum. my mum is the darling of the crowd. she's the neutralizer. plus my bro. he has many, many friends. unlike me. wait, i do have friends. kucing oren, d one in kedah who's madly in love with a doctor, one in far, faraway land, a teacher in pontian, d one who's planning to have a joint-venture baking business with me, d fast n furious golf gti engineer, plus a few that i met during our reunion. u know, d ones we exchanged phone numbers with but never call, plus those whom i tried smsing and got a 'who r u' reply. oklah, i take back what i said. i have many friends. woopsie!! happy holidays u all...!! oops, to me!!

a friend emailed me dis pict. i was so shocked, it was beyond words! i think i kinda gave dis pict to her a long, long time ago. and i am so touched coz she still keeps d pict. amazing! dis pict was taken during hari raya but i cant remember which year. must be sometime 89-91 i guess. d backdrop is my mom's kampung. d house is still there. look how slender i was!!! OH YEAH BABY, IT WAS ME...and that baju kurung moden was my favourite.

happy bday h.i.t.a.m.

i know ive been absent for almost 2 weeks. frankly, i was weak from d sickness i had and plus, nothing interesting happening for me to share. but on 31st of july, we had a mini celebration for my husband since it's his 36th bday. surprisingly, he was sick too on dat day. but by d time we wanted to cut d cake, he was ok. it was a homemade cake, bake by me. sedap tau...hehe. but as usual, from d picture, rania n omar took centrestage. they were d ones who blew out d candle. and when we sang, rania had her own version. when it comes to d 3rd verse, 'happy bday to ......', she sang, 'happy bday to h.i.t.a.m'. yup, she said it out loud. but then again, to her, her daddy is d most handsome guy in d world coz he's hitam and botak. she will defend her daddy no matter what ppl say. for instance, 'daddy tu hitam sebab dulu dia main tgh panas.' wow! i didnt know dat, rania...and botak is cool coz apparently, 'mawi yg tiru daddy'. so, there goes her admiration towards her daddy. as for omar ,he was juz interested in blowing out d candles. and oh yeah, he enjoyed cucuk2 cake.

remember i pointed out once about funny chinese names? like 'barbie chow' or something. okay, i finally found one which takes d cherry.

and im not too sure whether it's a he or a she. wanna bet??
