the news above is utterly disgusting.
if it were to happen to my family, i'd definitely summon a hired-killer.
ppl nowadays have a very, very sick mind.
in my opinion, there are 2 types of ppl that do not deserve to live.
rapists and those who commit incest.
especially when d victims are children.
i'm no God but i'd definitely go the extra mile to protect my loved ones.

what poem?

went to mph during lunchtime and i saw 2 books written by natasha hudson. out of curiosity, i flipped thru. one is a book of poetry written in english and another i assume is a translation of it.
let me juz say this.
i wont part with my money to buy d books. even flipping thru it was a waste of time. i showed it to hubby and as expected, he didnt even know who is this natasha girl. i dont know what was on her mind when she decided to publish the books. i know she's well connected. that could be the reason. that's d only reason i could think of.
try reading the book. rania could come up with better words to make up a poem.
ok, im exaggerating.
but seriously, it was full of her photos that guys may find her irresistable.
the poems?
i could only explain it in bahasa, "ntah apa-apa".

and i can only guess that 'pumpkin' is her fiancee.

ok, somebody pls shoot me b4 i die of laughter.
apparently, there was an email circulating regarding an IRB clerk.
the story goes like this;
one tax payer wanted the form B to be posted to him. so when the clerk asked for the employer's add, he cited R for rumah, A for ayam, N for negeri, H for holland, I for itik, L for lain-lain. so naturally it all sums up to RANHILL, correct?
and u know what?
that was what written on the envelope. the R for rumah, etc, etc.
can u believe that?
how stupid can she be?

red sofa

i was really happy when finally i managed to say things that ive been keeping in my heart. b4 i uttered it, i still had this bitter feeling inside me. but when it was finally out in the open, i was relieved! i juz didnt wanna lose her...
that's the power of communication, my friend...

i have this red 2-seater-sofa in my office that i juz bought. where else but ikea eh?
although we're neighbours, they still charged me for delivery. other option is for me to carry it by myself. duh...! i didnt know i had to assemble it later on.
so, me and my roomie took almost 2 hours to assemble it and still we couldnt pass step 1.
called d I.T. guy and ta-da! ive got myself a sofa.
i gave him d honour of being d first 2 sit though.

sports day

yesterday was rania's sports day. it was fun for her. she told me. better than going to school, she said.
but here's what's funny.
the mothers were all carrying handbags. it looked awkward to me.
why oh why do they bring handbags to a field?
some tried to show off their designer handbags. ok ladies...i can see the monograms already. some tried to pull a 'posh spice', some tried very hard and succeeded, while others tried extra hard but still looked like a..........err, well, nobody.
maybe some juz refused to realise that it was d kids' moment, not theirs.
and even worse, those who wore high-heels.
it's a F.I.E.L.D., get it? and it was raining d night b4.
my goodness. ignorance is definitely not a bliss in this case.

i had lunch with a friend yesterday. basically we talked bout d same thing; stress. she's so stressed out with her daily affairs. same thing goes with me. and we're not the only ones. is it sthing that we shouldnt b complaining bout? or should we? ive tried every method to lessen d stress level. it doesnt really show physically but im afraid it might take a toll on my immune system. i used to boast bout my so called inner peace but not anymore. im facing a time constraint problem. the fitness ppl kept calling me but dont u get it? i juz dont have d time! i'd love to go! seriously....

i guess this is d after effect of having such a good time over d weekend where i lazed around, watching d birds, concentrating on d chirping sound. and my heart was beating rhythmatically slower.

suggestion : let's move somewhere else where ppl still appreciate d basic necessities.
reply : u do know there are pros and cons, rite? can u stand d ppl?

hmm, ure probably rite.

it's what inside that matters. no matter where u go, if ure messed up inside, things would still b d same.

onde-onde dr sarawak

over d weekend, we went 2 kuching to visit my dad. and rania had to choose this last-minute trip to finish her homework. we heard constant whining of 'sakit tanganla', 'macam lemahla' from her but i refused 2 entertain any of it.

this is what we did in d evening. kuching is such a peaceful place to live in. and back at home, we dont even have enuf space 4 our kids to play. i enjoyed every moment of looking at my kids enjoying themselves.

they refused to step down from d wheelbarrow. typical.

at night, u can never find a peaceful time to read a book. it will always end up with omar grabbing d book.

'macam real je dia baca kan?'

d next day, we went to damai beach resorts.we were caught off-guard coz dad didnt tell us earlier. i would have brought swimming attire for them if i had known earlier. it was frustrating not being able to let them swim.

dad assisting...it was rania and omar's first trip to the beach. too bad it was unplanned.

omar excited giler. rania a bit cautious but more to 'takut baju basah sebab nanti tak sexy.'

it was a memorable trip. one i enjoyed. esp when u look at their smiling faces.

things that u always took for granted when ure back at home.

here, ppl moved at a slower pace. no traffic jams. and the parks that they have. they have a number of very well-mantained public parks where u can do some activities like cycling, walking, jogging, u name it.

for those who think i have nothing better to do, well, actually u can say that. but pls dont think that i'm one of those so called 'obsessed' mothers. seriously, i was so bored at my office and i thot, why not upload images of my kids.

d pict was taken when me n hubby were abroad. my dad and mum took them out to a nearby kopitiam. when my mum sent me dis pict, i felt like weeping coz i missed them so much!
and she looked so happy!

when i mmsed dis pict to mum and sis, the reply was ,'klakarnye!'

he looked like he was trapped but at d same time, a bit curious.

he must b thinking, 'what in d world is dis thing...?'

we hardly bring him out. reason being, he's so hyper! so when we brought him out once in a while, he was a bit passive.

probably thinking, 'wah! so nice meh?'

this was a few days b4 the party. looking at him, i said,

'hensemnya anak den!'

ok, this is definitely not my idea!

though u can c a pair of hands cupping his butts, that was juz my bro trying to ask him to let go of his hands. he was gripping it so tightly and guess what? yup! he was on his own when he climbed up bit by bit.

and u could hear my mum yelling,

"anak sapa ni...!!!""

LOST

i'm a big, big fan of the tv series LOST. tonite they'll show the first episode of the latest season on axn which is season 3. but i'm not gonna watch it.
why?

i thank heaven and earth for being able to buy from the dvd guy.
that's why i'll never stop going to the same place.
so, i dont have to worry if i missed any episodes. and i tried googling to get hold of any info on season 4 but i wasnt able to.

a great, great party...!!

OK, as everybody requested, this is rania's 'grande' fairy castle cake. While on our way back from picking up d cake, all 4 towers actually fell all over d place. It didnt help when hubby made quite a number of sharp turns. But no worries, mum had all d remedies to erect d towers again.

And this is omar's cake. Note the balloons in the middle. It was moved quite a number of times by everyone. This cake is sooooooooo delicious!!

And the '55' green cake is my dad's cake. 'Directly imported' from kucingorengemok. This cake was a fast-moving item.

OK, no introduction needed here. This is rania who insisted on the castle cake. After being told of the actual price, I almot cancelled it. But then again, who can say no to her, eh?
