Qanaah
mum said i have so much hatred inside me.
actually, no. i dont simply hate ppl. im not that crazy.
i admit i dont fancy certain ppl but d reasons are justified with why i cant stand those ppl.
so when i saw one raya programme on tv1 with dr fadzilah kamsah summarising and giving advise at the end of the show, i listened attentively.
he said, dont hate ppl. (ok, that's very general.)
he also asked us to forgive before we go to sleep every night. just forgive anybody. no point keeping it inside u.
that, i find it difficult to follow.
but i didnt say i wont try my best....!!
another raya programme that i saw and have a strong impact on me was "Qanaah." it means 'feeling satisfied with what God has given u.' pls bear with me. im not trying to preach here. admit it, it's easier said than done. d opposite word for 'qanaah' is greed. pls correct me if im wrong. we can be selfish once in a while though sometimes we have no intention of doing so. but it happened. like when i attended a friend's open house last week, one pointed out of this one particular friend who's doing well abroad and how she wished she could be in her shoes. apparently, she's got a house and a car. in which im still amazed at how ppl measure 'success' nowadays. i was dying to interrupt but...oh why bother.
firstly, i dont care.
secondly, im juz happy im still breathing.
and this is d best part; u know how during a gathering when we tend to ask ppl where do they work? well, 2 gave me d 'i-work-with-MNCs' look. u know that look. i hate that look.

at least you work with some 'known' company...i ni, org tanya, i would rather say i work in a small private company without actually saying the name...coz if i say my co name, people would go like "what company???"
