actually, this is d normal nasi lemak that my mum made. d usual lauk, sambal ikan bilis and telur, ayam goreng, timun. d sausages are leftovers actually. and dis bungkus-style nasi lemak was my idea. to tapau for hubby. biar lagi berselera makan. haha!!

mum's 55th bday cake. cantik kan? oh i wish i could bake such a lovely cake. we woke her up at 12 nite sharp. i even had to lie to her that hubby was outstation so dat i could sleep at her place and organized everything. the 12 nite plan was mooted due to constant nagging from d bday girl herself. no, she didnt say what she wanted. she assumed we tried not to remember her bday. how could we forget when she kept reminding us eh? nway, im happy it turned out well and this is apparently, her favourite cake in d world.

d message on d cake was, 'mum, ure a star!'
