kids

yesterday i was so damn tired. accumulation of sleep deprivation.
so, on my way back to my house after maghrib, omar fell asleep in d car.
as soon as we reached home, i carried him to d room so he can continue sleeping. (more of a nap actually)
the nite wasnt so hot so i asked rania to sit with me at d car porch.
looking at d stars, i mentioned things as if she's an adult.
told her how tired i could be sometimes and since i was in the melodramatic mood, my speech goes on and on.
and u know what?
she had to spoil it by saying...
'cukupla potpet potpet tu mummy...'
i laughed so hard!
and all my problems juz fade away.....

while hubby was having rojak, he chided 2 schoolboys for smoking. they were in their uniforms.
one of them asked, 'lu sapa?'
hubby replied, 'polis.' (err, actually not.)
they walked away though.

the question here is...
ask anybody! would u make such rude remarks to the elders when u were younger?
we didnt rite?
kids nowadays are downright rude and i wonder what makes them that way apart from different upbringing.
