on mother's day

we, d whole family would always take mother's day with a cynical tone. of course la, why only appreciate your mother on mother's day? you can appreciate her any other day what...
but yesterday was actually children's day at our house.
because mom still cooked for us before attending kenduri, and when they got back, my sis and i requested something that my father is very good at, and the best part was, he delivered 2 bowls to us while we, 2 lazy bums, were watching tv. see? it was children's day, not mother's day.
and me being a mom, i dont expect anything from my kids.
but when i had to go out last nite for an outing with friends, when my kids shed tears begging me to come home early, aaaaahhh....that's d best gift ever.
