at a local food court...it was raining very, very heavily but they seem unperturbed.

semenjak pandai makan sendiri ni, bukan main lagi eh.....

on saturday went to BP to attend a wedding. it was also a food rendesvous of nasi briyani and murtabak plus goreng pisang where only johoreans would understand what's d big fuss is all bout. the last time i went to buy goreng pisang at d same stall was definitely more than 10 years ago. the incident that i remember the most was when my father dropped me off to tapau some goreng pisang and while waiting, my father juz drove off and left me there. after a while, he came back coz he must have realised that i wasnt in the car. and that was in, umm, 1990? and when i went there again last saturday, it was the same makcik and when i looked at those goreng pisang lying in a big dulang, that's when i realised, it was worth the trip. u can never find it anywhere else. except if ure really craving for it, the next best thing is in front of pasaraya tmn tun. that's d closest i can get. though they dont offer the cili kicap to dip it with, i dont mind settling for that one unless somebody came up with a 'rocketeer-like suit' where i can fly up and down without taking too much of my time.

unfortunately, the briyani we had at d wedding tasted so much better than those i tapau'ed' and too bad, i didnt get to tapau the nasi kenduri.

sunday, attended a birthday party at a friend's place. a nice way to catch up with each other with minor interruptions from the kids but all in all, it was nice.

those picts above were taken yesterday, decided to grab a bite but in the end, it was early dinner for us coz we were stuck due to the heavy rain. oh, it was a fun-filled weekend...

btw, in d car, daddy asked rania whether has she done her homework?

she said, 'tak sure ada berapa buku nak kena buat'.

so she asked me, and i said, why should i remember? it's ur homework, not mine.

u know what she said?

'sape yg tukang bayar tu, ingat2kan la skali ada berapa homework...'
